What to Expect on Your First Visit

If you are a first-time patient at Athletic Advantage Physical Therapy, we will do everything in our power to make you feel relaxed and confident. ​

We do want to maximize your time with us, therefore being well prepared for your appointment will ensure that we have all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you.
 

Prior to your first visit, please complete the new patient intake forms that were emailed to you and arrive a few minutes early to finalize and review the forms including a photo of your insurance card and ID.

Your first visit will include a thorough initial examination and assessment of injury or condition. You may want to write down a history of events related to your condition before you arrive. 

​

Our physical therapists will review your goals and specific needs to develop an individualized treatment plan which includes the frequency and duration of your course of physical therapy.

We are here to discuss your expectations for maximizing therapy visits and home exercises. An active participation from the patient is vital to a successful recovery and rehabilitation experience​.
