Athletic Advantage Physical Therapy Tips During the Holiday Season

Try to maintain a portion of your normal routine in a way that is manageable

During the holiday season, it’s tempting to skip healthy routines of rolling and at-home exercise to enjoy time with family and friends. You deserve downtime and a few days of celebration won’t ruin the fitness foundation you’ve worked so hard to build, but it’s important to stay on track. We’ve compiled some simple tips to help you celebrate the holidays while maintaining your fitness in the busy days ahead.

Have a Ball

If you are traveling, don’t leave your routine behind. A lacrosse or hard ball easily packs away in your luggage so you can get a quick roll anywhere.

Share the Joy

During the holidays there is a lot of family time, share with your family or friends your at home exercises and rolling sequences. Theracane, lacrosse balls, resistance bands, and rollers make great holiday gifts.

Listen to our Holiday Playlist

It won’t always be easy to make time for your rolling and at home exercise routines. To ensure that you are getting your flexibility and maintenance in, we've created a rolling playlist to help you navigate the holiday season.
